Chuck Arlund — Artist & Photographer

I’m Chuck Arlund, an artist and photographer based just outside Nashville, TN.

Whether capturing raw, documentary-style portraits or creating surreal, abstract visuals, I’m always exploring new ways to express emotion and narrative through photography. I earned my Master of Fine Arts from Belmont University in 2020, with a thesis focused on Christian-themed work exploring ego, shame, and humility.

Since 2013, I’ve taught photography as an adjunct professor at Middle Tennessee State University, helping students push past technical boundaries to find their voice.

Professionally, I specialize in photographing musicians for album covers and media, but I’ve long been told my imagery has a cinematic quality that lends itself well to book covers. My mother-in-law, who worked at Ingram/Lightning Source, introduced me to this platform—and I’m excited to bring something unique to the table.

I’m open to custom projects and happy to tailor images to match your character’s story—whether that means adjusting age, hair color, race, or mood. All work involving people includes signed model releases.

If you’d like to commission a custom cover, please reach out to SPBC Creative Director Rob at sales@SelfpubBookCovers.com, and mention my artist ID: carlund.

Thanks for taking the time to view my work. I hope it helps bring your story to life.
