MtP Art (Mario Heyer) wurde auf der rauhen schwäbischen Alb in Laichingen geboren und lebt mit seiner Frau, 2 Kindern und 2 Katzen in Leonberg. Seit seiner Schulzeit ist er begeisterter Fotograf, anfangs noch analog, doch mittler Weile mit DSLR (Nikon). Autodidaktisch erlernte er über verschiedene Grafikprogramme den Umgang mit Ebenen und ist auch heute immer noch hoffnungslos dem Grafikfieber verfallen. Mithilfe von Fotos, 3D Programmen, KI Software und Photoshop erstellt er seine ganz eigenen Welten und Bilderserien. Hauptbereiche sind dabei DARK ART, FANTASY und SCIENCE FICTION. Hauptberuflich ist er als Elektriker bei den Stadtwerken Pforzheim tätig. Mehrere Artworks von MtP Art erschienen im Magazin DSCreative 2017 waren 4 seiner Motive Teil der Galerie des EXODUS Magazins im Themenband „Die Phantastische Bibliothek“. Ebenfalls im EXODUS Magazin erschien seine Illustration zur Kurzgeschichte „Amen Smartgod“ von Uwe Post |

Seit 2018 erstellt er beim BLITZ-Verlag für die verschiedenen Serien die Logos, Cover und Druckumschläge. Des Weiteren ist er auch für die Werbeanzeigen Inhouse und extern zuständig. Gerne arbeitet er dabei eng mit den verschiedenen Autoren zusammen um die passenden Cover zu gestalten.
Seit 2023 erstellt er auch beim Bastei Verlag Covermotive für verschiedene Serien wie z.B. Maddrax, John Sinclair, Professor Zamorra, Geister Krimi, Die Vagabunden, Castor Pollux, Atlantis Legenden Seit Anfang 2024 erstellt er auch Covermotive für den EK2 Publishing Verlag 2018 erhielt er den 4.Platz beim Vincent Preis Horror Award für das Cover von „Kinder des Yig“ 2020/21 erhielt er den 8. Platz beim Vincent Preis Horror Award für das Cover von „Schattenschwarz“ 2023 erhielt er den 3. Platz beim Vincent Preis Horror Award für das Cover von „Metempsychosen“ |
