Managing Your Covers on BookCovers.com

The Covers page is your hub for managing all the book covers you’ve created, uploaded, or sold. This guide will help you navigate and utilize the features on this page effectively.


Overview of the Covers Page

The Covers page provides a table view of your covers with the following columns:

  • Image: A thumbnail preview of each cover.
  • Name: The unique name or identifier for the cover.
  • Availability: The current status of the cover (e.g., Available, Pending Review, Sold).
  • Cover Price: The price set for the cover.
  • Views: The number of times the cover has been viewed by potential buyers.
  • Date: The date the cover was last modified or published.

At the top, you’ll find summary stats for:

  • Available: Total covers currently available for purchase.
  • Draft: Covers saved but not yet published.
  • Pending Review: Covers waiting for approval.
  • Sold: Covers that have been purchased.

Filters and Bulk Actions

Filters

Easily find specific covers by using the filter options:

  1. Date Range: Filter covers by the date they were uploaded or modified.
  2. Category: Narrow down your covers by their genre or category.
  3. Click the Filter button to apply the selected filters or Reset to clear them.

Bulk Actions

Perform actions on multiple covers at once:

  1. Select covers using the checkboxes next to their thumbnails.
  2. Use the Bulk Actions dropdown to select an action (e.g., delete or change status).
  3. Click Apply to execute the action.

Adding a New Cover

  1. Click the green Add New Cover button at the top-right corner of the page.
  2. Fill out the required fields for your cover, including:
  • Uploading the cover image.
  • Assigning a title, category, and price.
  • Providing additional details or metadata.
  1. Submit the cover for review or save it as a draft to edit later.

Cover Statuses

  • Available: Covers that are live and ready for purchase.
  • Pending Review: Covers submitted for review and approval by the BookCovers.com team.
  • Sold: Covers that have been purchased and are no longer available.
  • Draft: Covers that are saved but not yet published.

Tips for Managing Covers

  • Keep your portfolio updated by regularly adding new covers.
  • Use high-quality images and ensure all details are accurate to attract potential buyers.
  • Monitor the “Views” column to track which covers are receiving the most attention.
  • Review sold covers to analyze trends and refine your design strategy.

Pro Tip:

Create covers for diverse genres to appeal to a wider audience. Regularly check the Pending Review section to ensure your covers are approved promptly.
