Add A Cover

This guide will help you navigate the Add a New Cover page, ensuring your cover is properly set up for listing on BookCovers.com.

Steps to Add a New Cover

1. Pricing

Set the price for your cover:

  • Cover Price: Enter a price between $35 and $299. This is the amount authors will pay at checkout.
  • Your potential earnings are displayed below after entering the price.

2. Categories

Assign categories to your cover:

  • Choose at least one category for your cover.
  • You may assign up to three categories, which will determine where your cover appears in the storefront.
  • Click + Add new category if the desired category is not listed.

3. Tags

Add tags to make your cover more discoverable:

  • Tags are used for search purposes and to display related covers.
  • Type your desired tag and press Enter/Return to add it to the list.
  • Add multiple relevant tags to ensure your cover appears in appropriate searches.

4. Images

Upload images for your cover:

  • Image (without text): Upload the version of your cover without title or author name.
  • Image (with text): Upload the version of your cover with title and author name.

Both images are optional, but providing both helps buyers visualize the cover’s potential.

5. Accept Terms of Service

Before submitting, you must agree to the Terms of Service:

  • Check the box confirming your agreement with the platform’s TOS.
  • This step is required to proceed.

Submit Your Cover

Once all fields are completed:

  1. Review your entries to ensure accuracy.
  2. Click the Submit button to send your cover for review.
  3. If needed, you can save the cover as a draft and return to edit it later.

Tips for Success

  • Price competitively: Consider similar covers in your genre to set an appealing price.
  • Choose relevant categories: Accurate categories increase the likelihood of your cover being found.
  • Use descriptive tags: Tags help your cover appear in search results for related terms.
